Strategy. Learning. Performance.

Designing connected systems that help people perform.

Complex performance challenges are rarely solved by training alone. I help organizations see the whole system, strengthen the connections, and turn strategy into practical human performance.

Good training doesn’t happen in isolation.

It’s never just about the learning experience itself.

Training may take the form of a lesson, simulation, scenario, game, app, AI tutor, or something not yet imagined. Its effectiveness is shaped by the full context surrounding the people and the work: the learners’ backgrounds, the realities and requirements of the job, leadership expectations, and the processes, tools, technology, practice, feedback, culture, and support available.

A solution designer looks across that entire ecosystem. The goal isn’t simply to create content. It’s to understand what people must be able to do, what makes that difficult, and what combination of strategies will help them perform successfully.

We know the learning has achieved its purpose when there’s a meaningful difference between what people could do before and what they’re able to do afterward.

Areas of focus

Bringing together strategy, learning, technology, and human performance to address difficult organizational challenges.

Performance Ecosystems

Examining the full network of people, processes, tools, information, incentives, and workplace conditions that influence performance.

Learning Strategy

Connecting learning objectives, job tasks, practice, assessment, and ongoing support to real operational needs.

Human-Centered AI Strategy

Exploring how AI can strengthen judgment, capability, access to knowledge, and performance without losing the value of human experience.

Complex Solution Design

Turning ambiguous, interconnected problems into practical strategies, decision frameworks, and coordinated solutions.

Workforce Capability

Helping organizations build the knowledge, skills, judgment, and support systems their workforce needs to adapt and succeed.

Technical and Mission-Critical Learning

Designing for complex environments where accuracy, reliability, consistency, and sound human judgment matter.

About Anne

I’m a strategic learning and performance leader with extensive experience solving complex workforce and training challenges in technical, operational, and mission-critical environments.

Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to the problems that don’t fit neatly into one department or one type of solution. My work often involves finding patterns, connecting disciplines, and helping teams move from isolated activities toward a more coherent performance strategy.

I use the term Solution Designer because it describes both how I think and how I work: understand the real problem, see the broader system, bring the right people and ideas together, and design something that works in practice.

Let’s think beyond the course.

I’m interested in thoughtful conversations about learning, performance ecosystems, workforce capability, and the human-centered use of AI.
